i know you're used to me complaining about tourists and how they don't know how to walk and think this is disneyland. but...i just want y'all to know, i redeemed myself tourist karma wise today. i helped not one, but two, count 'em two groups of tourists. the first confused the world trade center and the world financial center which are not only on different sides of the highway, but also pretty different. one is a huge office building with a gorgeous soaring atrium and the other is a huge, upsetting ex hole in the ground that is currently a sorta constuction project. i showed them the scenic way to view both along the water. so there.

i then, only moments later, showed a woman how to find the post office, so there, talk about helpful. i'm going to apply for my merit badbe. no more bad marks from the chamber of commerce.
